    Loved the latest show. I now actually really look forward to each one so keep it going! A lot of interesting items but the discussion that struck a chord with me was Shirley’s comment that “funding is in need of as much disruption as Social Care.” I absolutely agree with this. It’s a real minefield for Start Up’s and community groups to negotiate – and needlessly so as the funding required is often small. I’m sure this is something that will continue to be a theme as we discuss barriers to innovation. Great show

    Thanks Paul, and I absolutely agree. It’s no surprise that the innovation in funding, such as crowd-funding (Kickstarter et al) and co-operatives, isn’t coming from banks. As a entrepreneur who has self-funded and is trying to get investment for a start-up (Mindings) you can be assured that this subject will regularly come up!
